The short version: muwav doesn’t know who you are. Not because of some carefully tuned data-minimization strategy — because nothing exists to know you with.
What muwav collects
Nothing.
There is no analytics framework. No telemetry. No usage tracking. No third-party SDKs. No crash reporter phoning home. muwav has no servers that receive your data, because muwav has no servers at all.
What you listen to, when you listen, how often you listen — none of it leaves your devices. muwav doesn’t watch, and it couldn’t report back even if it did. There’s nowhere for the report to go.
Sync happens in your iCloud
Your library — your Waves, ratings, cue points, play state — syncs between your Mac and iPhone through your own private iCloud account. Your audio files travel through your own iCloud Drive. All of it lives in Apple’s infrastructure, tied to your Apple account, governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Cedar Syntax has no access to any of it. I could not read your library if I wanted to. There is no admin panel. There is no dashboard.
Purchases
muwav for iOS is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the entire transaction — I never see your name, your payment details, or your address. Apple tells developers how many copies sold, not who bought them.

Here is the only way I ever learn anything about a muwav user: they tell me.
If you email support@cedarsyntax.com, I’ll have your email address and whatever you chose to write. That information is used for exactly one thing — helping you. It stays in my mailbox. No mailing list, no sharing, no selling. If you’d like it deleted, ask.
This website
muwav.surf is static HTML and CSS. No JavaScript, no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels — and the server keeps no access logs. I don’t know that you visited this page. I don’t even know how many people visited this page.
